Okay I really don’t wanna contribute to the regional fursuit debate much further, but tbh I have a bone to pick with people who think eastern suits are “better” cause of their realism styles

I remember ya’all making realism rarer in the west cause lifelike suits are “too scary”

@SunDragonSuits They’re starting to finally gain traction, which is a huge sigh of relief from me cause I’ve always adored realistic styles :’D
Maybe from all of this, more makers will pick up the style and then I can have more options to pick from aaaa

I’m just sick n tired of this lack of subjectivity over styles that, while yes has existed since the beginning, has evolved into this superiority of opinion when you just KNOW these points people push are either blatantly not true, or worse; caused by them themselves 🤷‍♀️

The toony styles these people seem set to make fun of where WHAT SOLD. Realistic makers suffered in the fandom, only having a market with ren faires and DnD

They are incredible btw and are frustratingly left out of this convo, just because they’re not overseas

Merk has been settling in so well that it’s hard not to consider getting him a buddy soon, since he’s already showing he misses having another cat around. Our search may start once we’re home from our trip :’D

@somberpaw Honestly almost wanna wait until then, but I also do live nearby some really nice shelters I wouldn’t mind supporting! Really just depends on if any cat comes up!
I’m more wondering if getting an older cat while already having one is a good idea, anything I need to worry bout :’D

We’re basically gonna be open to any cat— ideally one that’s been in the shelter for a bit unless we fall in love with a kitten like we did Merk— but would an older cat be harder to integrate?

I just know I wanna avoid him getting too bored when we’re not around/busy, so!

Makes me feel a lil extra slow with a feeling of work fatigue looming over me… Can’t tell if I need a big, proper break to properly reset, or just better work habits to keep it from being so easy to crash aaa

Getting my new sewing machine up n running n get a better appreciation for my work again (been messing up a few times recently) will probably help too, but idk

Been sucking to realize I can’t work the same as I’ve used to. Need more rest, need better routine :’D
