Bulu is a Sumatran orang-utan who was born at Budapest Zoo. Sadly, Bulu lost his mother just a week after his birth.

Bulu then came to Monkey World where he joined our European Orang-utan Crèche, where he was able to grow up surrounded by his own kind and learn important life skills.

From climbing and exploring to developing important social skills, the crèche gave Bulu the opportunity to have the childhood he deserved.
