At level national hunt racing is dominated by the big Irish stables, Mullins & Elliot. I would welcome a limit in the number of horses per race to make it a more even contest. Lots of English owners now send their horses to betrained in Ireland.

@laura_woodsy As for 2026 48 teams is ridiculous, especially with 8 third placed teams going through. My idea of the best solution would be 16 groups of 3 with top team going through or 12 groups of 4 with 8 best winners into 2nd KO with 4 other group winners plus 12 RU in 1st round. Thoughts
