Kids don't "age-out" of the Oasis program. We help our kiddos get into the right high school and vocational programs for them so that they can continue their education and find jobs once they graduate.
No matter how old they are, they'll always have family in Oasis!
These kiddos are constantly reminding us that peace isn't found in circumstances that go according to plan. Peace is accessed in Jesus, even when the wind blows, the storm rages, the battle roars.
Wishing you peace that passes all understanding this Advent season.
A rare moment of sweetness from this one who's filled with the best kind of sass.
Every child deserves a place to belong - we're so glad she belongs here!
This sweet girl in the middle - Head up. Eyes forward. Smile lighting up her face.
The ground will be there whether she looks for it or not, so she's not wasting time looking for what's coming. She's looking for the adventure along the way.
This is our posture today as we seek the Lord in Kenya, in the US, and around the world.
Drop a 🙏 in the comments if you're joining us in prayer today!
We practice gratitude as an act of shifting our perspective toward what we have instead of what we lack.
What's one thing you're grateful for this Monday?
Things feel pretty upside down and backward in every way right now.
In a season where we're hearing lots of bad news, tell us something good! Share your good news below and let's all celebrate! 🎉
"Just because someone carries it well doesn't mean it isn't heavy."
We're so proud of the ways these kiddos carry their stories...but don't forget how much they're overcoming, healing, and growing.
We’re so thankful for the army of people that surround and support these kiddos.
From washing dishes to tutoring their lessons to tucking them in at night, our staff is incredible at loving them, championing them, and advocating for them every step of the way.
To be clear, we aren't their savior, their rescuer, their redeemer. That role has already been filled.
But we sure do love getting a front-row seat to how God is restoring their little lives!
Healing doesn't always look like big toothy grins.
Sometimes it looks like eating slowly.
Sometimes like sleeping through the night.
Sometimes it looks like saying no.
And sometimes it looks like grins that stretch from ear-to-ear.
We'll celebrate healing any way we see it!
