After months of staying quiet, the Duffers opened up about #StrangerThings, here’s the highlights:
- No plans to continue with Holly's storyline, despite the setup.
- Will's coming out was originally planned for season 4 but they pushed it back because it didn't feel earned yet.
- A Will/Mike romantic relationship was never on the table, they wanted to stay truthful to the characters as written.
- The duffers check Reddit sometimes, but Ross says he's stepped back lately, feeling detached as he tries to mentally exit the show.
- The Steve "death" fakeout was filmed in half-day reshoots (their first ever on the show). The original cut was too dark and fast, so they rebuilt a small section of the tower to milk the moment.
- On leaving the show behind, Ross says some days are fine, some days hit really hard.
- There was a debate over whether a 40-minute ending was acceptable, eventually they went with it.
@_LightIsWinning@PuckReportNHL I think it was just because he was already against the wall so its not technically a board. They had to initially call a penalty cause there was blood but it was just an unprotected hit.

@mtxtun I think archie is right with NA teams. We have a ton of talent but they feel like a team of individuals rather than a group. NRG being the exception because they work well with each other and play as a team. NA needs more teamwork
