I noticed many people commenting that even other earners buy fuel and spend money on maintenance as well. That's valid, but not the same in this context.
I work in an office and I spend a total of 200k on fueling my car in a month. Let's say a total of 10k on minor maintenance not involving change of oil which isn't every month, or major mechanical issues.
But someone running bolt services will buy at least 200k fuel per week. That's a total of 800k or plus. He must change oil every month at about 40k to 60k depending on oil quality. He will spend at least 100k on minor mechanical issues, vulcanizer, car wash, etc. He will spend at least 50k on data and airtime. I haven't added the cost of purchasing new or Belgium tyres in 2/3 months intervals. I have not added periodic money spent to sort police, traffic wardens, VIO, Road Safety, Agberos and co on time wasting issues.
In total, he'll spend about #1,010,000 to #1,050,000 monthly.
Remove that from his total #1,409,000 net earning.
He'll be left with #359,000 +
Imagine he has any major mechanical issues that sometimes can suck 200k all at once.
I bet your car engine can't last more than a year or two when used for bolt.
Just think about his restlessness. His staying awake at the airport waiting for clients. Just think about his driving for about 15 to 18 hours everyday to make that income. Just think about the days he'll be struck with fever and have to stay idle for days and even weeks.
Remember that as a commercial driver, you only earn when you're actively DRIVING!
When you don't drive for one day, you may spend half of what you made the previous day.
So, let's always be balanced in our views and takes about what this person earns, and what that person earns. Every business comes with its own challenges and techniques.
@Desire99531158@icekied@olumidecapital Na your back and your eyes go tell you later. I wish you well ooo but try to let people understand the reality of the business.
@inDrive My wife was on a ride, she quickly stopped by to get food and when she came into the car,the driver said and I quote "please ma'am I don't allow eating in my car" she had to drop her food so that's why am asking if it's ideal of the driver to had done that @boltapp@Uber@inDrive
