All day yesterday and today, the far right were spreading misinformation about the identity of the suspect following the incident at the crocodile enclosure. They were hoping he was an immigrant, but police have confirmed that he is white British.
Watch them go quiet all of a sudden.
According to the East of England Ambulance Service, and as far as they know so far, the collision between the two trains has left 11 people with very serious injuries, 22 seriously injured, 56 with minor injuries, and one person has died.
🚨 BREAKING
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has officially announced the recognition of the State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Nine years ago tonight, Makram Ali finished his Ramadan prayers and started walking home.
He never made it.
Makram Ali. 51. Finsbury Park, North London. 19 June 2017.
He came to the UK from Bangladesh aged 10. Married. Four daughters, two sons, two grandchildren.
He collapsed on the pavement from a weak leg. He was sitting up, talking, asking to go home.
Then Darren Osborne drove a van into the worshippers gathered to help him.
Makram died in his daughter's arms.
His family asked one thing: that people know who he was.
"Our father was a quiet, gentle man."
"He spent his whole life without any enemies, choosing a quiet life instead."
"He was always ready to make a funny joke when you least expected."
His daughter Ruzina: "He never had a bad word to say."
And then she named it: "We lost our humble and much-loved father due to an act of racism and hatred."
Osborne was convicted of murder. The judge found he was driven by hatred of Muslims.
A man with no enemies. Killed for his faith on his way home from prayer.
His family did not answer hatred with hatred. They said the actions of one person can never reflect a whole people.
That is who they buried.
That is who was taken.
Remember his name.

🚨 BREAKING: Keir Starmer is now considering resigning after Cabinet Ministers called for him to step down
He'll come to a decision with his wife and family over the weekend
[@thetimes]
The Makerfield by-election result should not be read as a coronation.
It was a referendum on Starmer's leadership and a rejection of Reform's poison. Not a validation of Labour as a whole.
As households grapple with the cost of living, people are looking for stability.
Instead, Labour seems poised to deliver more Westminster soap operas and career-politician psycho drama, regurgitating more of the same when voters are crying out for a politics that puts people first.
Andy Burnham is now MP for Makerfield.
Jeremy Corbyn and Your Party demand a public inquiry into Britain’s role in Gaza.
His first test is truth, not ambition
How can anyone still support this Israeli govt when psychopathic monsters like Ben Gvir are ministers in it, advocating genocide in Lebanon? Disgusting.
🚨 NEW: A Tory source predicts Nigel Farage will soon quit as Reform leader over the Makerfield by-election
"We are watching the slow puncture of the Reform balloon. They had a 10 point lead over Labour in the polls and won every seat in Makerfield at the locals but, as they have at the last three by-elections, Reform have lost yet again. Farage is ducking press conferences to avoid answering questions about his £5m crypto bung. Yusuf is too chicken to stand as a candidate.
"It’s now surely only a matter of time before tired Nigel picks up his ball and goes home, leaving a bunch of hopeless nobodies to squabble over the remains of a turquoise travesty"
First Caerphilly…
Then Gorton and Denton
Now Makerfield
Even with the press and billionaires firmly on your side, you lose
We don’t want your division, rage and riots
Hope that’s clear now 🇬🇧❤️✌🏽
