@abikedabiri To think you are amplifying the plea of the offender and not for consideration to be given to the flight crew is just ridiculous. Y are there laws if it's application is selective?
Here are the dental students of university of Calabar currently in front of the VC office today again.
For those who are not aware:
Over 300students have been told to leave university and “learn a trade” after the university deliberately over-admitted them into a dentistry course the uni was not accredited for.
Pls kindly lend your voice.
It only takes 2seconds to share this.

“Reno Omokri led a protest to chase President Tinubu out of London…The mistake you will make in Nigeria is to take political jobbers for genuine statesmen.”
Two years after being entrusted with the presidency, your message to Nigerians sounds more like a carefully written corporate PR memo than a sincere address to a people in deep anguish. While you lay out what appears to be a catalogue of “successes,” it fails to acknowledge the lived reality of everyday Nigerians, who are not feeling the so-called progress.
You speak of removing subsidies and “dismantling corruption-ridden exchange windows” as though these policies were bold acts of reform. But boldness is not the same as wisdom. Reforms without thoughtful cushioning for the masses, without clear implementation strategies or social safety nets, only deepen poverty and widen inequality.
Let us not pretend that Nigerians voluntarily embraced hardship. They were thrown into it, abruptly and painfully. Today, millions cannot afford basic food items, transportation, rent, or healthcare. Prices of rice may be "easing" in your economic briefings, but in the markets, families are making devastating choices between feeding their children and paying school fees.
Yes, the Naira has “somewhat” stabilized (emphasis on somewhat), but at what cost? After months of free-fall, it rebounded only through restrictive monetary policies that choked the real economy, and billions in borrowed support. This is not economic wizardry; it is economic triage.
You boast of rising rig counts and investments in the oil and gas sector. But how does that translate to electricity in our homes, fuel in our cars, or jobs for our graduates? What is the impact on the life of the average Nigerian trader, teacher, or artisan?
You say “the worst is behind us,” yet insecurity still haunts us. Kidnappings, banditry, and communal violence remain rampant. The average Nigerian is not safe in their home, on the road, or in their farm. And for all the talk of “security chiefs upping their game,” Nigerians still bury loved ones daily due to preventable violence.
This is not cynicism. It is a reality check. Because nation-building is not measured by GDP statistics alone, but by the dignity of life people can live.
Nigeria deserves a government that listens, not one that constantly explains away suffering with graphs and slogans. We need leadership that feels what we feel. You ask us to “Bet on Nigeria.” But sir, betting requires trust, and trust must be earned, not demanded.
So yes, we hear your speech. But we also live in your economy. And until Nigerians begin to truly feel progress, not just read it in presidential prose, your words will remain what they are: beautifully crafted, but painfully disconnected.
We are not asking for miracles. We are asking for sincerity, clarity, and people-centered governance. That would be a real movement worth betting on.
I pray for my country, I pray for you , and I pray for the great people of Nigeria !

@sweety_vieve But this is not new now. Belonging to societies or religious institutions or ndi omenala has it's demands and rules that applies to all members. If course u can choose to go ahead without complying but the dead person joined voluntarily.
@instablog9ja Most importantly finding peace & happiness in a relationship cannot be overstated. Hopefully he gets it right this time. Toxic relationships helps nobody!
