In JSS3 I convinced four classmates to follow me to a deep river in the bush to cut bamboo for goalposts.

I told them the PHE teacher sent us.

He didn't.

Someone saw us leaving school and ran to report immediately.

The PHE teacher, principal and other teachers jumped in the school bus and drove toward the river.

They arrived just as two of my friends were about to jump in and swim.

They would've drowned
That bus sound saved lives that day.

They beat all five of us on the spot.

I was suspended for weeks.

My dad finished the job at home, he nearly kpai me.

Something happened years back when i was working with MTN back then in Allen Ikeja....Then i worship at Mountain of fire ipaja zonal headquarters....Our salary got increased and i did so with my tithe....back then once my salary hit my account first thing i do is to remove my tithe and keep aside to avoid me touching it...I was so punctal with my tithing to the extent that i always get sms message from the church telling me the need to always be punctual with my tithe so things won't be tight for me.....Later something happened at our work place that warrant some of us being sacked...I was affected anyways because the mess happened in my department and we couldn't even defend ourselves... After we were sacked...some of us never even prepared for life after that job...we are kind of helpless... first place i ran to for assistance was that church.... lmao they ignored me...I never asked for money.....I only asked for recommendation letter from the head Pastor and they ignored me...A pastor that I had easy access to when I was still bringing money to the church suddenly I'm out of job and they started ignoring me....

Story cut short....I got the recommendation letter i from another place not that church...Since then i reshaped how i see Nigerian churches....I will rather give that money to humanity than enriching a pastor who's already better than me.
