Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's Court Update, 29-05-2025

(The court is expected to hear and adopt final written addresses from both the defence and prosecution. These addresses will focus ONLY on the trial-within-trial, which was ordered to determine whether or not Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s 2015 statements to the DSS were made voluntarily or under duress. Main trial may resume afterwards depending on how long the ruling takes)

The court proceedings commenced immediately the presiding judge arrived followed with the announcement of both teams.

However, the defence team raised an objection to the admissibility of the defendant (Nnamdi Kanu’s) written statement (originally taken in 2015), reiterating its earlier stance that the statements were made under duress.

Meanwhile, the prosecution countered the objection, urging the court to overrule the defence and admit the statements as valid and voluntary.

A man who committed no crime has been detained for over 2 years despite being discharged by Nigerian appellant court. 15th of December the Nigerian supreme court will rule on his case and Biafrans and the entire world are very optimistic and positive.

We are waiting for his release. He committed no crime .
Me I think @officialABAT is a smart man and far more intelligent than Buhari and will definitely let Mazi Nnamdi Kanu go as court declared.

#Biafrans don’t always be deceived by some people deceptive comments. Do you know some of those shouting on social media and radio asking #IPOB leadership give us order, give us order, just an ordinary drone or helicopter flew across where they are , they packed their bags and ran away with all kinds of excuses.

Some that were shouting , we move! #Biafra or death as soon as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was abducted , they disappeared from the struggle , claiming they won’t do anything until Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is out , can you imagine such people called themselves Biafra freedom fighters .

Some refused to pay their monthly dues and give any financial support to the struggle only when Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is set free. Such people thought they’re more intelligent than google . We shall see how it goes in the end .

Always think deep when people are making so much noise around you , don’t follow the crowd in making decisions if you want to succeed as a leader in a struggle like ours because the crowd will deceive you , dump you and stab you at the back if they found out your really working to save them .
