Doctors (read Medical Officers) need to actually unite and demand better. Demand is high, refuse those 2k/hr shifts or 9-5, alternate weekend, sub400k salary. The problem is when one person refuses, another person will collect it.

House officers are basically begging the MDCN to pay the ₦267,000 January salary.

Let’s not even talk about how ridiculous that salary is for a doctor, why hasn’t the January salary been paid?

Today is 15th February and House Officers have still not been paid their January salary.
Some House Officers are also owed up to 7 months’ salary.

This delay is affecting morale and wellbeing of the doctors.
