imo the live diary is just Posting, not really art, and observational/confessional writing is just too immediate to really get at anything of significance, which is fine, if you’re not pretending to be something that you’re not. And if you don’t try to moralize, because if there is a point to this type of writing, it’s to have humility and understand the only head you’re in is you’re own! i be blogging because it’s fun and because i feel arrogant trying to filter observations through any lens other than my own, but it is just a void.
