@AimeeTRES A3: Everyone in my class gets to be the student of the week. They are interviewed by the class and I write their responses on chart paper. Students love taking the shared writing piece home, as well as, a class book, which each student writes about why their classmate special.

@AimeeTRES Q2: My students love writing in their "Over the Weekend" journals. I learn so much about them from their journals. I find out about their favorite movies, books, hobbies, and songs. I use that information to help me make meaningful connections.
