I've been freelancing and managing client projects for years.
The process has always been broken:
→ Write proposal in Word/Google Docs
→ Export to PDF
→ Email it
→ Follow up ("did you see it? 🙃")
→ DocuSign separately
→ Chase the deposit 😭
→ Share files via Drive
→ Update the client on WhatsApp
5 tools. 5 tabs. 1 chaotic client relationship.
So I decided to build Briefigo.
AI writes the proposal.
Client signs and pays in the same link.
Files, updates, messages - one portal.
Waitlist is open.
Briefigo is live, and we're taking the waitlist 🚀
Freelancers spend hours writing proposals, chasing signatures, and managing clients across 5+ different tools.
Briefigo fixes that.
I did my first proposal at 21.
Spent 4 hours on it.
The client paid me $180.
That's $45/hr on the proposal alone - before doing any actual work.
Every proposal after that took about 2 hours.
I'm a software engineer who knows how to automate things. I just never automated the thing I do most.
Until now.
Briefigo generates a complete proposal from a 2-min intake form.
The AI does the writing.
You do the editing.
Client signs and pays in one link.
Building this so no one else spends 4 hours on a $180 proposal.
In my opinion...figma had all the time in the world to build what claude just released as "claude design"
They already had the infrastructure, the product and market.
I saw and used figma make when it came out, but tbh...I just knew that wasn't it.
This is just the plumbing. Now we’re moving into the high-fidelity features: Approve & Sign, Versioning, Payment Integration, and automated ROI tracking. 🥂🚀
I’m building Briefigo to be the tool I always wanted as a freelancer.
I’d love your feedback: What’s the biggest "black box" in your current proposal workflow? If you’re a freelancer or an agency owner, what's the ONE feature that would make you ditch your PDF workflow tomorrow? ⬇️

(Day 1 - 3)
I’ve spent Day 1 - 3 heads-down building the MVP foundations for Briefigo. 🥂🚀
The goal is simple: Help agency founders move away from static, manual proposal drafting and into a more dynamic, AI-assisted workflow.
Here’s the reality of building the foundation. ⬇️
Why a live portal?
Static PDFs are great for records, but they’re a "black box" once sent. I’m building Briefigo so every proposal has a live, branded portal.
Today’s focus: State management. Ensuring that when a founder updates a project, the client sees it instantly without a new attachment. 🥂🚀
Next up: The "Approve & Sign" flow.

"Software Engineering Will Be Automatable in 12 Months,"
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei predicts that AI models will be able to do 'most, maybe all' of what software engineers do end-to-end within 6 to 12 months, shifting engineers to editors.
