Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

#MaiduguriFlood This soldier of KC Uwaezuoke, if you know his mother, tell her she has given birth to a brave and patriotic Nigerian. The number of people he has evacuated to safe land cannot be counted. We are so grateful to the @HQNigerianArmy for a job well done.
You just know there are 8 or 9 "Climate NGOs" with Africa offices in Nairobi currently falling over themselves to offer $1,000 grants to some stupid Nigerian journalists to report the flooding in Maiduguri as "climate change," tying in an argument against Africa using its own fossil fuels to industrialise.
For the record, here are the facts: this disaster was caused by the collapse of Maiduguri's 40 year-old Alau Dam, a dam constructed to shield Maiduguri from seasonal flooding along the Ngadda river basin. This dam already suffered structural damage due to high seasonal rainfall in 1992, 1994 and 2012, and never received the required maintenance to put it back into ideal operational shape.
In other words, this is an infrastructure problem, not a "climate" problem. It is a problem that will be solved by developing more capacity to build and adequately maintain infrastructure like Europe does - capacity that comes with cheap energy and industrialisation like Europe did.
If you are the oloriburuku bastard journalist in Abuja that is preparing to submit that $1,000 grant application to write nonsense for white people and hurt your people in the process, you will contract untreatable genital herpes and suffer until you die.
My name is Bristol Isaac and I am 99% oppressed by the Nigerian government and my fundamental right is also trampled upon..
I will never give up my fight for a new Nigeria that is possible.
Nigerian government free Bristol Isaac, he is not a criminal.
I chose Atiku Abubakar in 2019. Back then, I knew he was better than the gap-toothed disaster. I would have chosen Waziri, if it was just AA Vs BAT. The lesser of two evil is reason enough. However, times have changed.
I will plead with Alhaji to act like Biden in the interest of Nigeria. If Peter Obi & Atiku can work together, I will welcome that as well.
The goal is to take Nigeria back from the people who delivered despair, desolation, divisions, hunger & starvation in 9 wholesome years.
That said, there are those that have mistaken my caution for weakness. Sometimes doing nothing is the best thing to do. At war, the only thing worst than afraid is ‘rational.’
But trust me, it’ll guide you home.
There are different types of courage. Valor, fortitude, honor. All I possess in abundance. I see political campaigns as a siege. Not of any type of violence, but clash; the clash of ideas.
Not fought on land, but on the pages.
I don’t give obeisance to mortals. Complaining is not my rich indulgence. Who would have thought that I’ll be the most agreeable in the room? I covered myself in glory in the past. But I came to know the face of regrets as well.
The one who sits on the throne is not the king. The people are kings; the owners of the land. The Throne is ‘duty,’ duty to your people.
The Throne Room is endless torture, you must deprive yourself of pleasures; that’s what duty is about. Your duty is to unite the people, hold them together. You’re a protector ordained to lead & strengthen the people. This is what Asiwaju would never understand.
The horrors you unleash is not just for the Crown, it’s more than that. Divisions & Economic Horrors are easy. Uniting the people? that’s the hardest part. I won’t throw my heart in the ring (campaigning when it’s not yet the time). But when I do join? everything changes.
You know that a General is here. You know you’ve been touched by that which is celestial.
Every soldier have their souvenir. My faith may be gone, but not my compassion. That is what is stopping me from quitting on my country.
The future is bleak, sometimes I get terrified like everyone else. But I always feel like I’m in safe hands. The Dream is ‘the People,’ the people whose freedom was bought by duty.
It’s a General’s Dream.
The Ballad of Freedom & Glory. ✊💪
In pursuit of my desires and soul-searching for solutions for our country’s and continental challenges, I was in Kigali, Rwanda , over the weekend. I had several meetings, planned and some sudden with notable people in the development sector, and discussed a range of issues, especially from personal to sports and food insecurity.
Most of the comments, I had resonated well with belief for example, whenever I talk about productivity, I maintain that our productivity is low and my emphasis remains on our country moving from consumption to production.
The Former Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Hailemariam Desalegn @HMDessalegn shared that in their dealings with the Chinese, they found that the Chinese produce 6-7 times what the Ethiopians can produce, and they decided to do something about it.
Today, he recounted: "I can comfortably say that the average Ethiopian produces 60-70% of what the Chinese can do."
At the height of my meetings, and engagements was a gracious opportunity to meet with the legendary Rwanda President @PaulKagame, with whom I had very useful discussions on things that resonate with me every day, especially what is required for Africa to move forward.
He remains committed to the management of scarce resources and serving the people faithfully, which resonates with me deeply.
Finally, I spoke at the Sherrie Silver Foundation's "The Silver Gala". While looking around the hall, I saw a continent on the rise if only we could have the right Leadership and invest in the entrepreneurial, innovative energy of our youths.
Overall, my experience in Kigali have reinforced my belief that the new Nigeria is possible and that Africa, the continent, is on the rise and unstoppable. -PO
Nigerians must stop at nothing in demanding for transparency in the operations of government especially critical agencies like the state-owned NNPCL whose activities appear to be shrouded in secrecy. The conflicting reports on subsidy payments have left Nigerians in the dark,
It was a pleasure to visit our living legend, Mike Ejeagha, and to commission four newly constructed and reconstructed roads in Abakpa Nike. In recognition of Mike Ejeagha’s immense contributions to the cultural heritage of Enugu State, we have renamed Obinagu Road, leading to his residence and reconstructed earlier in the year, to Mike Ejeagha Road.
Enugu is a state rich in history, talent, and culture. It is our duty to honour and celebrate those who have shaped our identity. Today, our government extends full support to Mike Ejeagha, taking responsibility for his upkeep as part of our commitment to preserving the legacies of our indigenous legends.
To the residents of Abakpa and Enugu State, we assure you that this is just the beginning. We have recently awarded contracts for the construction of 141 roads and 20 rural roads, and Abakpa is certainly included.
Very soon, we will commence the dualisation of Penocks Junction on the Enugu-Onitsha Road, extending all the way to Opi-Nsukka. The contract has been awarded, and work will commence shortly. Our commitment to transforming Enugu State is unwavering, with many more roads and projects underway to enhance the lives of our people.
Tomorrow Is Here!
