One day, you’ll probably be shocked to hear just how many people in the political and corporate world Peter Obi has helped over the years, directly or indirectly, including you know who.
But that’s the thing about him. Humility is at the core of who he is. He’s never been the type to go around talking about or taking credit for the good he does for people. He simply helps and moves on.
Some people are thinking that Atiku is rich because of his muscle in party primaries and his Dubai vacation.
But on a serious note, Waziri no fit guide pass Obi.
Peter Obi is just pretending to be stingy to avoid billings from people like Kenneth Okonkwo.
Your Excellency, unsurprisingly, this statement is an admission of failure, not a solution.
Lagosians do not need periodic emergency evacuations of mountains of refuse. What they need is a functional waste management system that prevents waste from accumulating in the first place.
For years, residents have endured overflowing dumps, uncollected refuse, blocked drainage channels, and worsening environmental conditions despite billions of naira allocated to environmental management.
The fact that you now have to “direct an immediate scale-up” after waste has already overwhelmed communities is an utter failure of leadership.
Indeed, Lagos generates over 13,000 tonnes of waste daily today, just as it did yesterday, last month, and last year. This is not a surprise. It is a known reality that should be planned for through efficient collection, waste sorting, recycling infrastructure, transfer stations, waste-to-energy investments, and transparent performance management of operators.
Like your commissioner, you cannot continue to shift responsibility to citizens to “bag their waste properly” when many communities are left without reliable and affordable waste collection services. Rightly, Citizens have a responsibility to dispose of waste properly, but government has an even greater responsibility to provide the infrastructure and systems that make proper disposal possible.
Lagos cannot continue operating reactive clean-up exercises and public relations statements whenever refuse piles become impossible to ignore.
Lagos deserves a modern, accountable, and sustainable waste management system: one that measures success not by the number of trucks deployed after a crisis, but by the absence of the crisis itself.
Again, Your Excellency, after seven years in office, why is Lagos still battling a problem that should have been solved through competent planning, execution, and oversight?
I guess the answer is obvious: if e didn’t dey, e didn’t dey.

Women get Audacity shaaa. 😳💔.
She told her husband a man is threatening to beat her up at her Shop place. The husband ask her what she did, she said it's because she told the man not to patronize her shop again.
The excuse didn't make sense to her husband but not to argue, the husband told her "Let him try it first and watch how I will deal with him then he will realize I don't joke with my wife".
Last week Tuesday, someone call the husband that his wife and a man are having serious fight. The husband rushed there upon hearing. On getting there! He met the man and his wife in serious confrontation with people around trying to separate them. The wife immediately kept to herself when she saw her husband.
The husband, out of curiosity didn't fight back the man nor insult him. He calmly ask the guy what the problem is? Without the guy knowing he's her husband, he responded! "She's my sex partner. She saw me with another woman and won't stop embarrassing me each time I passby, She told me she's a single mother and I can't marry or have anything serious with a single mother."
The husband in shock, told him he's her husband and walk away. 😩
On getting home! The man packed her bag and told her to leave. She said she will not leave because she's the one paying for the House rent.
The man pack his own bag instead and left the house for her.
She's is in my DM asking me to help talk to her husband...
Pls what Advice do you have for her?👇

You play well, hold the team for long, miss chances, then get punished towards the end of the game.
Common pattern when African teams play big national teams.
The Obi of Onitsha wanted to do his 85Th Birthday and instead of invite current Governor Soludo, he chose to invite the former Governor instead and this has happened countless of times.
Says a lot.
One thing has become increasingly clear, Mr. Peter Obi is no longer merely a politician seeking office. He has become a symbol of hope for millions of Nigerians who desire a different kind of leadership.
Whether in Lagos, Abuja, or other parts of the country, the crowds, the energy, and the genuine affection shown to him cannot be manufactured. They are not the product of state resources, political patronage, or ethnic mobilization. Rather, they are the result of years of consistency, simplicity, discipline, and a message that resonates deeply with ordinary Nigerians.
What continues to inspire many about Mr. Peter Obi is that he speaks less about power and more about purpose. He speaks about production rather than consumption, about investing in people rather than politics, and about building a nation where competence matters more than connections.
In every engagement, whether with business leaders, young professionals, market men and women, students, or community stakeholders, the same pattern emerges: people listen because they believe he understands their pain and shares their aspirations. His recent engagements in Lagos have once again reinforced his commitment to credible elections, national development, and a more productive Nigeria.
What many see in Mr. Peter Obi is not perfection. Rather, they see a leader who has consistently demonstrated prudence, accountability, and empathy in public service. They see a man whose personal lifestyle reflects many of the values he advocates publicly.
The excitement surrounding him is therefore not just about one man. It is about what he represents: the possibility that Nigeria can work, that leadership can be responsible, and that public office can once again become a platform for service rather than personal enrichment.
History often reminds us that great movements are built around ideas, not individuals. Mr. @PeterObi's greatest strength may not be Peter Obi himself, but the awakening of civic consciousness he has inspired among millions of Nigerians who now believe they have a stake in the future of their country.
Consistently unfolding events serve as yet another reminder that while political structures remain important, the most powerful force in any democracy is still the people.
As we celebrate Father's Day today, it is also fitting to acknowledge the fatherly role that true leadership plays in society, offering guidance, responsibility, sacrifice, and hope for future generations. Nigeria's yearning for better leadership is, at its core, a desire for a nation that cares for its people and secures a brighter future for its children.
Happy Father's Day to all fathers and father figures whose sacrifices, wisdom, and dedication continue to shape families, communities, and nations.

Meet peller a 21 years old boy who's getting married to Jarvis a 25 years old woman.
One of the most foolish thing you'll ever do as a young man regardless of being rich is getting married at a young age. It takes more than financial stability to get married. You need to be mature and mentally upright to think of settling down and the only way to get these is by maturing in age.
There's no world as a 21 years old you should be getting married. Jarvis is definitely his first serious relationship and that should tell you he's just a boy entering in a lion's den.
Not only is he marrying at a young age. He's marrying a woman who's older than him, more exposed than him and a woman who once said on a live stream that she'll make him sign a prenup so if they divorce tomorrow, she'll get half of his assets.
The red flags are all over but he's ignoring them because a man in love is usually a foolish man.
My advice for young men is they should at least be 30 years of age before thinking of getting married because then, there's a high probability they have gotten their heart broken, understood certain women nature and now see women for who they really are.
It's a shame peller doesn't have family members to advise him.
At the end of the day, we all know how it's going to end.
Men are in love while women remain in business.
The game might be brutal but it's still fair.
It’s been 72 hours since he dared you to bring out any evidence of corruption against him, & he will stop campaigning. You said you weren’t convinced! Now he is daring you to put forward any evidence of corruption. It’s been 5 years now. That makes him a saint among criminals.
I'm still cracking up about the Peter Obi video.
Do you know how fed up he had to be? Peter Obi doesn't even like to boast.
He said, "What can I do to show u lil niggas that the money was long before politics?"
First 1000 founding members of AMEX, only two niggas allowed. Peter Obi and Michael Jackson 😂😂
"Next International Uk as at the day I was declared Governor received an overdraft of over $7m dollars & had over 200 containers on the sea. I phoned my wife and told her to take charge and subsequently resigned from a total of 11 companies on that day" - Peter Obi NDC presidential Candidate.
Tinubu is sharing rice & pasta,
Atiku is sharing dollars,
Kwankwaso is giving scholarship to children of the poor to study abroad,
Peter Obi is going round donating funds to schools.
The choice is yours, whether to be OK or not, come 2027.
48 hours ago, Peter Obi said if anyone can bring out any evidence of corruption against him that he will stop campaigning…
And everywhere is quiet; no one could bring out anything.
No single politician in Nigeria can say that. Never
This audacity is insane.
If there is any reason I support this man, this is it.
Old money.
Politics made him poorer.
Black card founding member.
Amex Platinum founding member.
Chairman of a successful bank at 34.
Seats in 3 banks before governorship.
$25 million annual turnover before 2002.
The other guy was in Chicago trying to score.
The chemistry between Olusegun Obasanjo & Peter Obi is almost that of a father & his son.
I hope to see Obi reenact OBJ’s Foreign Policy.
I want your Green Passport Ranking repaired. I’m eager to see your image abroad repaired. I want to see Nigeria at G7 Summits once more.
I want a debt free Nigeria. A country that meets other countries on equal terms. Not another monkey dey work, baboon dey shop type of arrangement. Certainly not another (US of A-AFRICOM) or EU-MACRON beating the drum for another Aso Rock puppet in a village square.
Nigeria must be in rooms where Geopolitics, OPEC+, Climate Change Agreements, Global Trade, the IMF/World Bank, Africa Affairs, & EVs & AI Chips markets are discussed!
Nigeria can no longer afford to be an onlooker or a bystander. You must have skin in the game. OBJ did it before, Peter Obi can & he must reenact it. The consequences of Nigeria’s absence on the international stage are dire.
You must take back your No. 1 position on the continent from South Africa. You must be in rooms where Aviation, Energy, Xenophobia, Immigration, United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), & Bilateral/Multilateral agreements & concessions are discussed & negotiated!
You were once a leader in Africa. Nigeria must take back its rightful place on the continent. You must lead the continent once more!
So I hope to see the president of the United States of America visit Nigeria one more time.
You know me as OBJ Stan for all the right reasons. A Peter Obi is an end to obscurity & hostility from South Africans, Ghanaians, & the rest of the world. There are hundreds of different ways I have pictured Obi's Nigeria.
This is me wishing His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Ugochukwu Achebe CFR, mni (Agbogidi), the Obi of Onitsha — a Happy 85th.
He has his flaws. And I obviously don't know much about his private life. But with what I have seen so far, this man right here should be the role model for all Nigerian youths.
The humility he has, even after accumulating all this wealth is the sort that is rarely found in our current society.
Integrity ✔️
Empathy ✔️
Humility ✔️
He embodies all the qualities that an average Nigerian politician will never have.
2027, I will vote him again. His principles strongly align with mine. If I don't vote him, I will not have peace of mind. If he gets only one vote, then it will definitely be mine.
Skales is saying no presidential contestant is worthy of his vote. As in, none of the contents is capable of making Nigeria better.
Tinubu is not worthy of his vote.
Peter Obi is not worthy of his vote.
Atiku is not worthy of his vote.
Makinde is not worthy of his vote.
Donald Duke is not worthy of his vote.
Sowore is not worthy of his vote.
He's not voting because none of these men is worthy of his votes. And a zero vote for others is a vote for Tinubu.
Therefore, Skales is one of us. Another W in chat.
Exactly 20 years ago in Sheffield this week, I was preparing for an exam and as I was going to my apartment, a big black cat unhurriedly crossed the road while staring at me. I laughed at the thought that other people would think it was bad luck and continued walking.
That night, there was a fire alarm tripped in my building and we all had to come out into a cold rainy night wearing almost nothing. I caught a bad cold and flu from gathering outside with everyone. Initially I thought it was because of an Apple from Tesco I didn't wash properly before eating. Maybe that contributed too.
I was so sick that I couldn't concentrate more than hour on my SAP SEM Academy exam and left two hours early. The pass mark was 70 and I scored 67. Since that day, if I see a black cat, I quietly go back. I am an Edo man. 😂🤣🤣🤣
He is the GOAT. He has nothing to prove anymore. How far they go depends on his performance. He deserves the respect he gets. Rightly, they all look up to him and have accepted without him, they go nowhere. He is their leader.
He is like that guy in all tech firms that comes to work like once bi-weekly or monthly but earns more than everybody. But when he comes, he fixes everyone's problem because he wrote the code.
This is what CR7 should be. He should just be happy to be at the World Cup, centre everything around the younger players. You are 41 and only one person in the history of football ranks above you. You have nothing to prove to anybody. Every member of the team grew up idolizing you. You can even decide to be the assistant coach, cheerleading the team and be coming in the last 30 mins. His desperation, drive snd ambition is his strength and what has brought him this far. It is also the reason, he is easy to hate. Lead them like your kids, not people you have to outperform. They will never catch up, so what are you still proving?
