The whole TrqstMe thing brings up the real issue which is toxicity in online gaming.

The argument “this is nothing I’ve seen 10x worse” or “gaming has always been this way ya’ll too soft” IS THE PROBLEM.

Those of you coming from COD and other games w similar toxic communities filled w negativity and shit talking are used to it. You’ve normalized that behavior, it’s normal for you, it doesn’t actually mean it is normal behavior.

whenever you make new account, it feels disgustingly easy to climb to the point there’s almost no difference between platinum and gm

this argument is fueled by one thing: PERSPECTIVE. if you’re bronze, plat is super high

no statistic takes that into account.
