BTW, all of what I've been doing is supposed to be part of a collective effort, so anyone who wants to take a piece of the work and help develop it, such as specific subsystems such as energy, heat management, ECLSS, hull materials, networking design, etc, etc, welcome aboard!

A somewhat rare pic of the T-80UE(not to be confused with T-80UE-1).
T-80UE was essentially a last ditch effort by Omsk to score some export sales in the late 1990's, which never happend.
The E is for export.

One of the things I got last week was this brochure book on Air-Log and their Hydropneumatic Suspension System.
I'll post the most visually interesting parts from the brochure but you can view the entire book linked below.

The smallest in the UNSC's line of carriers, the Ankara-class is first and foremost an assault troop transport ship, with utility as a convoy escort. Its air wing is primarily composed of dropships and orbit-to-surface heavy lift vehicles.
The Attack on Pearl Harbour is the beginner scenario for our game Task Force - Carrier Battles in the Pacific.
You can see from the scenario map that it is nice and simple - after all, the Japanese are striking ships in harbour that don't know what's coming, so there is less movement than normal.
Later scenarios increase in complexity.
You can fight the Battle of the Coral Sea, Midway, and much more.
If you really want to understand how to lead a combined task force in the Pacific Theatre and be a master of carrier warfare, check out this game.

In service of the Toriboralis Commonwealth since 2810, the Type188-Class Cruiser is much smaller compared to UN cruisers, but that doesn;t mean it cannot hurt one. Although less advanced than the majority of UN warships, the Type188 makes use of recently upgraded comms and EW tech
adjusted the jovian hardsuit a bit, also hardsuits from each faction that i now realize im gonna have to refine, polish and make the style consistent for the visuals of the article fuckkk
Designer Yves Rettel spent 20 years working on Red Strike. A "magnum opus" type of wargame.
It is massive. It is epic. It is not for the faint-hearted.
This game sets the standard for "Cold War gone hot".
Fight a Soviet invasion of Central Europe, with all the classic 80's tech.

In Operation Overlord, we have used chunky, solid wooden blocks for the units.
They are used for Divisions and Army Corps.
The Army Corps blocks are double-sized - basically a large cube.
And the Divisions within each Army Corps are kept off-map on Army cards.
This makes it easy to see your order of battle at a glance.
Army > Corps > Divisions.

I got some advert brochures in today since they were a reasonable price and quite neat!
This set is of some conceptual drawings of the French company SNPE's reactive armor offerings.
When i come to think about it, the new structure is somewhat resembles Rus Motor Rifle Inf regiment but a larger scale
F320 e.g:
3e Mech/Motor Inf, 1e worth of Arty (irl independent Arty battalions), 1e AA (AAA/SPAA), 1d tank and integrated support elements at battalions level
The Allies and the Germans each threw about 50 divisions into the battle for Normandy.
Casualties were high, but it was quite rare for a division to be totally destroyed.
Even after multiple disasters, the Germans could maintain a front line until the collapse at the Falaise Pocket.
For this reason, in our game Operation Overlord, it is rare to fully destroy a Division. Usually it will take damage and retreat, perhaps being rebuilt with supply points.
To get a decisive victory and wipe out a lot of enemy units you will need to thoroughly outmaneuvre them.
