Kitana has indeed been portrayed as a strong and capable leader in the Mortal Kombat series. Throughout the games, she has consistently shown a commitment to fighting against Shao Kahn's tyrannical rule and defending the realms from his conquests and wars.

“we want the 2019 ariana back”
we don't. you can see how tired and sad she looked off camera. she has talked about it multiple times and you still don't get it. while you are “concerned” about her today, we were actually concerned about her while she was at her “peak” like many of you claim. leave her alone and move on. she ain't owe you shit.
They need to start implementing wind power more in her moves, I can't believe she didn't specialize in air kombat in mk1 despite it would be her perfect style along side fan toss combos
They are fine with a young monk in his 20s defeating shao kahn but a 10,000 years old assassin, a god descendant, and a warrior princess doing it is where they draw the line
I guess it is less impressive when a woman wins 🤷🏻♂️
Hate when ppl say Kitana beating Shao Kahn is a “girl boss” change to the story when it’s been her mission shit since mk2. Kitana defeating Shao Kahn herself should be and SHOULDVE always been her thing, he’s HER enemy.
She’s over 10,000 years old with over 10,000 years of arguably the best martial arts training and is descended from gods with godlike power over wind that she channels through her tessen fans. Those facts alone mean she shouldn’t be beatable by 90% of the roster.
