@MwesigyeFranks@mkainerugaba Supporting NRM or Muhoozi should never require anyone to surrender their conscience. Wrong remains wrong, and Loyalty to a political movement should never come be4 truth, justice, and human dignity.
We've learnt of the arrest of our comrades Ayesiga Promise aka Mr. Nsi, Sarah Namutebi, MC Mose, councillor Sserunjoji, and others as they attended a Holy Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Bulenga (Kikaaya). These comrades had gone to give thanks and dedicate special prayers for our leader @HEBobiwine as their way of marking #BobiWinesDay - a day designated by our mobilisation team to reignite the spirits of our supporters and encourage them to do good works. The leadership of the Church was aware of their presence and offered prayers. As the regime moves around doing their own mobilisation activities, some of which are outrightly illegal, they feel threatened even by @NUP_Ug supporters attending Church. Currently, the Church remains surrounded by police. We must all condemn the stinking double standards and demand for the release of our comrades.
When fear, intimidation, and repression become instruments of governance, that too is a form of corruption not corruption of money, but corruption of power, institutions, conscience, and the very principles of leadership.
@KakwenzaRukira@mkainerugaba Killing him is letting him off too easily. He should face life imprisonment and live with the consequences of his actions.
The so called @UN and the international human rights bodies are the most useless organisations....they are the ones funding every dictatorial regimes in Africa
