This evening a friend reached out to me. Another friend of his, a veteran, killed himself today after his dog died. He had severe post-traumatic stress and that dog was his lifeline.

Teddy is a 4 year old male Cockapoo. He is available and looking for a new home.

Teddy would be suitable to a man who is looking for a companion.
He seems to listen to men more than women.
He hasn't been around other dogs/children.
Teddy eats both wet and dry food and sleeps in his own bed at night.
He can pull on the lead to begin with but soon settles down into his walk.
Teddy travels well in the car, he likes to poke his head out the window for some fresh air.
He is also registered at the vets and up to date with all of his vaccinations.
Teddy loves treats and chews.
He also likes the occasional cooked meat or cheese. His recall is good if you have something he likes.
Teddy is familiar with boarding kennels and settles in with no issues.
He is groomed every 6-8 weeks and is always well behaved.
He will go to his new home with everything to settle him in.
Teddy is not destructive and can be left alone.
He would suit a male only household with no other pets.

🆘 MEET TUNA #242321 (PVST Edinburg, TX) — Blind but Fearless! 🐾❤️

Tuna is an adorable brindle girl who arrived at Palm Valley Animal Society as a stray April 19th. Staff quickly suspected she was blind as she showed very little response to visual stimuli.

During her spay surgery, a thorough vet exam confirmed she is blind in both eyes (left eye atrophied, likely from past trauma). No ocular medications are needed at this time and she remains comfortable.

Despite being blind, Tuna is happy, active, and incredibly resilient! She bounces back quickly when she bumps into things, loves people, enjoys attention, and does great with a patient kennel mate. She’s even up for rough-and-rowdy play once comfortable.

While not currently on a deadline, Tuna would greatly benefit from leaving the busy shelter environment soon. A consistent, loving home or rescue would help her continue thriving with confidence.

It has been revealed that the Black man charged with m*rdering a father of 5 in Houston was ON PROBATION FOR STRANGLING a family member!!!

The perpetrator, London Hogan only got 5 years of probation for assault by strangulation, nearly choking a family member to de*th.

Not prison... PROBATION.

He has been arrested multiple times with a nearly TWENTY YEAR rap sheet.

While free on that probation, police say he carjacked a young boy at GUNPOINT at a Houston gas station.

The victim's father, Louis Erebia, 56, went to get it back, after his son called him for help.

Police say Hogan opened fire and Louis was k*lled.

A repeat felon, on probation for strangling someone, was walking free and m*rdered a father of five children.

They will now grow up without their dad.
