When I expressed my concerns with how to satisfactorily test hose in accordance with NFPA standards without proper equipment. @mvfd27 President @obrien324 quickly facilitated 3rd party testing to ensure just that. Our members didn’t just stand by and watch, they jumped in as well

Members show pride in the @mvfd27 Squad company by reviewing stabilization and painting the chains. The paint helps members quickly identify the lengths while performing under pressure.

On Saturday, @morningsidevfd recruitment team hosted a virtual info session for 24 excited volunteer applicants. We relayed the news that @PGFDFireChief's team is beginning to create policies to address the application process standstill at the direction of @CEXAlsobrooks's team.

I continue to be amazed by our @morningsidevfd volunteers who found time today train on forcible entry, organize our storage area, and set up our new extrication training pit all while responding to calls for service.

Thank you to Mayor Cann and the Council of the Town of Morningside for their support of @morningsidevfd. The Town is providing emergency funds for the purchase of food. Together, we are identifying ways to support our volunteers delivering service during these challenging times.

I had the opportunity to participate in an extrication class after today's Station Management audit. Happy to report many of the @PGVolFRA were represented. Great work by all.

The @morningsidevfd IT Committee Chair Stephen Copley and I conducted a planning session on how to use technology to improve the recruitment and retention process. We are constantly identifying ways to remove barriers for citizens to serve their community. @PGMDFC @PGVolFRA
