Growing food insecurity means mothers are not receiving needed nutrition, and babies are born smaller and sicker. The number of babies admitted to the highest level level of care in our NICU increased by 25% in 2021. We are grateful for the dedication of our NICU staff!

Baby Afaq was born at 33 weeks at another local hospital in respiratory distress. He was transferred to Holy Family Hospital where he was intubated in the NICU and his life was saved. At two weeks old now, he will go home soon!
