@aliceasteriskk He’s been demoted and removed from all servers, Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@DarkHalo73 i'm so sorry i had to smite you immediately

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@aliceasteriskk - simply for being an exdev. you do make a good point though, but the main reason he was given the ability TO make models for placeholders in the first place was because the contract he had with february, which included him staying and finishing work he never finished.

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@aliceasteriskk we currently have a very small development team because that's what we limited it to be. we've had people in our DMs asking to be hired but we've declined and told them to wait until applications come, and we did not want to give ex-devs the chance to just jump back on ship-

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@aliceasteriskk also [forgot to add onto this] , our modelers are not as experienced as fg ones!! our team is very tiny and we don't plan on letting it grow big, which is another reason why we relied on his models.

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@aliceasteriskk - a simple pathway and vision to how we wanted models to look. further updates are to come regarding the statement by february

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

surrounding his involvement.

- February

I didn’t think I would need to make this announcement yet, especially since the agreement had not officially ended, but since ownership has been transferred to me, I feel that I need to properly act in my role as the person now responsible for the game and be as transparent [🧵]

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

His part of the agreement is now practically finished, and he has been removed from both the development team and the community server. I wanted to be transparent about this so everyone understands what happened and there isn’t any unnecessary confusion or speculation [🧵]

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@Disko_Dreamcast only replying to this because it popped up when i logged in; these models aren't our dead-set 100% official models! knuckles and everyone else shown is set to get a remodel, just quick WIPs that were made so we'd have some stuff to show off early :) ty for the feedback though!

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@unctomholland When the time comes for VA applications, we will announce it in our community server. Stay tuned until then!

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@DarkHalo73 We aren't very keen on hiring ex-developers, as we want to move on from previous association with Oblivion. Though when the time comes for the role you want to receive applications, you are free to apply!

[Obscurity @obscuritydevv]

@Plu5hdub Obscurity is under new management! A post from the previous owner was made regarding transfership, and an announcement in the discord server introducing the new owner was as well not too long ago.
