Exactly. Here’s what Trump said after renegotiating NAFTA:

“The USMCA is the largest, most significant, modern, and balanced trade agreement in history. All of our countries will benefit greatly.”

Now, even though the trade deal he renegotiated is still in force, none of that apparently matters.

He simply isn’t negotiating in good faith. Trying to pander to his whims is pointless.

Now it appears the $3 billion cost for the cheques -- will come from the deficit and higher revenues.
