Karl and I are spreading fertilizer, giving each other a hard time, and getting the Thunderdome ready for fall.

The habitat work is important...

This plot has changed fast.

The corn is already over 6 feet tall, and it's doing exactly what we wanted.

Little by little, the Build-A-Woods project is coming together, and it's only getting better from here.

It's been sprayed.
Now it's time to fertilize and seed before the brassicas go in.
The prep work isn't flashy, but it's what makes a great food plot.
Fall starts long before opening day. 🦌

Step two ✔️ Spray with Roundup.

Next up... till and plant.

We're trying to get these brassicas established before mid-September so the deer don't browse them down before they really get growing.

I came out here to start prepping two fields for brassicas.

Instead, I found a giant rotten tree laying in the pond.

Now it has to be cut up and removed.
