My heart grieves for this loss and how many are impacted. I just want you all to know, what you created made a generational impact on the people it touched. Between friendships, significant others, relationships and found family, the reach of Destiny is beyond comprehension.

A nine-year journey that I would not trade for the world. I will always want more, but never be given it. I wish this game and the Dev team were treated better.

For nine years, I put my life into you. I had many dreams for my adventures. This game was there when I was a kid, and Bungie was there when I was born. Halo was the reason I became an Xbox kid, all because of Bungie. My grief is in no way the same as the loss of family, but I truly lost something that was a passion. Something close to me (even if it may sound silly) I truly lost a big part of me.

No I'm not okay and I don't think I will be good for a long time. See you star side guardians. It may not have been perfect, but it was my home.

Seeing Destiny 2 be stripped away it’s heart & soul hurts.. The devs impacted by the layoffs played such a critical role in making this game as special as it was.

I don’t want Destiny to end, and every day the reality of the situation keeps slapping me on the face. The rollercoaster of emotions from dooming to coping to hopelessness is unfair.

I don’t want to see these devs, the DNA of current Destiny, go. I don’t want to see Destiny, my game for years, go.

This really sucks & makes me want to give up.

The same leaders who screwed the company, the same leaders who screwed the game, and then because the game obviously tanked, the VERY SAME leaders who in the past and present toss the devs who put their heart and soul into keeping this game alive, out on the streets (in the worst economy and job market in recent history) like nothing. ︀︀ ︀︀

Bungie leadership is exactly why we're at this point. ︀︀ ︀︀
