Dass Black Metal nur hässlich sei, ist aber auch falsch. Viele Bands setzen auch sehr auf die Heiden- und Naturromantik. Diese Mischung aus alter Sehnsucht und kalter Kriegerästhetik macht es wahrscheinlich gerade interessant.

it's sub-mitwit single order outcome moral posturing from people who cannot imagine complex or iterative/emergent systems and just want some moral absolute to parade around as though its adoption renders them heroic.

it takes a special sort of entitled incomprehension to mistake this level of miscalibrtion for virtue signaling.

this is the exact sort of person who said "close every school and business if doing so could just save one covid death" and then wrecked the world.

@heftycharge @axiochrono My physics teacher once explained it as an *apparent* contradiction. E.g. most matter increases density when solid, so ice being less dense than water seems paradoxical (even though a deeper look resolves it). I'd still agree with Axio because "should have met them" isn't obvious
