TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,
If you have about ₦10 million (Roughly €5900 and ) and you want to move abroad in 2026, come close. Let’s talk properly to avoid stories….
First things first……. Let me tell you the hard truth, this budget is not for flex destinations.
It’s for people who want access, stability, and a long-term plan. So you should seriously consider the study route in Europe, and not the Gulf…
Here are options that i will encourage you to opt for…
With reasons…
🇦🇹 Austria
Lower living costs, low tuition fees (about 500-751 Euros), accessible student jobs (20 hours during the school session and 40 hours during holidays), clear post-study pathways, and a 14-payment structure (instead of the traditional 12-months payments) salary.
🇭🇺 Hungary
Lower living costs compared to most of Europe.
Student jobs are accessible.
Clear post-study pathways.
And scholarships like Stipendium Hungaricum can completely change the math.
🇨🇿 Czech Republic
Quiet, structured, and student-friendly.
Affordable living if you avoid the hype cities.
Strong central location in Europe, meaning more mobility and options later.
🇵🇹 Portugal
One of the calmest systems in Europe.
Lower stress, easier adjustment, and reasonable living costs outside Lisbon.
Good stepping stone country. Many people use it to build stability, then move forward.
🇮🇹 Italy
Strong regional support for students.
Real chances to work while studying.
And a society that understands “starting small.” Survival is easier here than people admit.
🇫🇷 France
Solid public systems.
Better long-term security compared to temporary visas elsewhere.
Once you’re in, the structure supports growth, not endless renewal anxiety.
Also worth looking at,Lithuania, Slovakia, Estonia.
Less competition. Less noise. More breathing room.
Now, about the Gulf countries.
The Gulf has Very limited pathways to permanent residence or citizenship. And when things slow down, you’re always replaceable.
Europe, even the quieter parts, gives you time, movement, and options.
You can study, work, adjust, move countries, and plan long-term.
With ₦10 million, don’t chase shine. Chase structure.
Best wishes!
I was accused of exam malpractice at IMT Enugu in 2011 due to papers near my seat. I faced two panels, including high-ranking council members. My defense was to replicate the exam answers exactly as written.
