L’ovazione tributata a NAZA mi è parsa abbastanza fuori luogo e ipocrita ieri a Venezia e così credo sia parsa anche agli autori del film, in visibile imbarazzo.

I motivi sono molti, ne dirò uno solo che li riassume tutti: Naza è un film importante e sconvolgente, ma il suo contrappunto perfetto qui a Venezis, “Citizen Osama” di Ahmoud Hassouna, che racconta in pieno sole gli effetti dei crimini che i terroristi di Stato israeliani svelano nel buio della notte, non è stato presentato in concorso; l’autore non ha potuto essere presente al Festival e neanche il protagonista; la bandiera palestinese non ha sventolato fra quelle del Lido, al contrario di quella genocidaria israeliana.

Naza è un film importante e da vedere senz’altro, non fosse che per essere tutti testimoni di quanto si racconta. Ma era un film da accogliere con silenzio, o tutt’al più gridando ciò che il film stesso dichiara, “Israele Stato terrorista”.

Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found dead after hours of searching under rubble. She was killed in an Israeli strike, after the Israeli army fired at ambulances trying to reach her, delaying her rescue.

She is the fourth journalist killed by Israel while in the field since 2 March.
