Last week, I wrote about how @DStvUganda & Vacker got Ugandans excited for the World Cup. Today, I want to talk about the people behind the build.

📌 Before motorists/ passersby stop to take pictures at Jinja Road roundabout, there was design ideation, then came steel fabrication, moulding, 3D work, sanding, painting, panel installation, and finally, crane deployment.

The finished installation may carry the DStv brand, but its fingerprints belong to 27 people. We often measure advertising in impressions, views, and reach, but rarely do we measure it in craftsmanship.

We (myself included) usually celebrate creatives and brands all the time, but today, I celebrate the builders. Tag an #OOH project/ #billboard/ team whose craftsmanship deserves recognition.

But yes, for an entity like NBS, a distinctive sound or set of sounds would be top priority.
