@Lplollplolll @miltonappl3 I think it’s pretty simple. You need to break up conjugation in order to make grammar less ambiguous. When breaking things up, people started with the most immediate category — male and female. So woman, mother, daughter, seamstress, etc. go in one conjugation group.

Ppl will hate on me but my favorite is legitimately the Loeb. I find it very beautiful — probably because Homer’s images are beautiful enuf 4 directness
