#vangoghinspires@jessewoolston : 'Inspired by how Van Gogh understood & depicted turbulence in The Starry Night, the piece articulates what he imagined through a physics simulation. This exercise also re-defines how we experience this natural law of turbulent flow through art.'
Fingerprints in ‘Sunflowers’?! Van Gogh made this painting in January 1889 in Arles. While examining the painting, restorers found 2 fingerprints in the paint, at the top. Vincent must have picked up the canvas while the paint was still a bit wet, leaving his fingerprints behind.
