Manatee County needs more third spaces or places to be social that aren't work or a mall. Kids need community, seniors need community, so let's actually build spaces people want to use.

Part of why I want this job? It comes with healthcare. That shouldn't be something I have to hope for — it's the reality for full-time workers all over Manatee County who still go without.

How can full-time business owners be accessible when they’re busy with their private interests? We need to hold our public servants accountable with their role, the ones they volunteered for, and that is serving the public.

Tomorrow I'll be at the Code Enforcement Special Magistrate Hearing, 9am at the County Admin Building. Most people never see how code enforcement actually works until it's their street with the problem. I want to understand it before I'm the one making decisions about it. #FLHD71

Manatee County has a significant vacancy rate in our apartments right now, so why are we still approving more build-to-rent development? This is exactly what I mean by stability, we need to build communities that are actually prepared for growth, not just building because we can.
