In fact, this is precisely what German- Jewish philosopher Hannah Arendt exposes: The undercurrent of Totalitarianism consists of a blind belief in kind of statistical- numerical "Scientific Fiction" that shows "Radical Contempt 4 Facts" : "The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people 4 whom the distinction between fact & fiction & the distinction between true & false no longer exists".
