Ever wondered why governments seem unable to solve real problems? Economist Yanis Varoufakis, says that it's because you can be in politics today but not be in power because real power now belongs to those who control the economy.

@DumaGqubule The South African economy dosen't necessarily need growth, it just needs restructuring. The per capita gdp is more than adequate, the problem is that the money is concentrated in the hands of a few individuals. The wages component of the gdp is the one that needs massive growth.
Our enemies know Africans have been conditioned by centuries of oppression and dispossession to prioritise self-interest and serving others' (enemies) needs over African collective good, a behaviour we don’t recognize as foreign to us but think is innate to us.
@shaun_dlanjwa At least you are honest. The EFF doesn't want to govern hence not interested in votes, it's just a platform for Malema to extend his oversized ego. It should deregister as a political party & register as an NGO. N'way next elections people are sending ya'l home for good.
@shobanes The real nonsense is wanting Matiangi endorsement by the roadside. The way you do these things is to meet in a boardroom and negotiate. You can't demand a roadside endorsement & then throw tantrums at a stadium when asked to behave, it's so childish. ODM has Arati in Gusii.
@KennyMbamboma1 As a clearner? This guy must stay at the back of the line until he plays he's dues for disrespecting elders. He had nasty things to say about Zuma, Molefe and even Manyi when he was under CIC, that cannot go unpunished ortherwise he will behave like these apartheid racists.
@Vusijoshua@Nhleiks5 A public system ALWAYS operates at the lowest common denominator ALWAYS. This just proves that you are the ignorant one. A voting system must be accessible easily to ALL eligible voters & yes some will be illiterate so be it.
@phakxx MKP must come up with a list of things that must be done. Don't let the GNU set the agenda then you are busy reacting, rather force then into your agenda that is pro-people. Demonstrate how they are woefully, out of touch & incompetent. Stop this culture of reaction.
@phakxx To be honest 2% VAT is nothing for the majority poor who have less than 3k disposable income per month, it's only ±R60 extra per month. Opposition Guys are setting themselves up for embarrassment. It's better to be on the offensive & make demands like better roads, teachers, etc.
@ThembaGodi_ It is actually dangerous to create a single point of failure. There must be a variety of alternative vehicles to board incase one is "technically" deregistered at the last minute or something like that.
@_reekee@SihleLonzi@Sinawo_Thambo Political parties aren't about smartness but ability to win elections. Let's see if they will fair better in he next elections.
@kenyanpundit Isn't he the guy who reintroduced colonial wigs after Mutua removed them. It's amazing how people are so shameless at promoting anything but RAO. It's literally a mental disorder.
