@StiglerCS_TV Yeah I've watched that show when it was airing in Mongolia. At first I was bit confused by the multi ethnic fictional country but later on I started to like it. Seeing Ulaanbaatar in a foreign movie was quite an experience. Also many Mongolians in social media loved it.
As a Mongolian, I was obviously waiting for the Mongolians to appear but I think I should appreciate the effort they've put in to show Persian and Islamic culture. I don't really know how authentic they are but I didn't see any orientalist tropes so far.
Even as a Catholic, I think it’s beautiful to see Islamic scholarship, which is responsible for some of the greatest advances in human history, depicted with the utmost care and reverence here. No effort was spared in making this as historically and culturally accurate I love that. It’s beautiful to see other faiths and cultures handled with care in anime.

@ImanShahbinIsh1@Azarea02@Mattgamer003 We were fucking silent for 400 hundred years under some genocidal Qing dynasty or some Soviet communist bullshit oppression. And even after that we don't mean any harm to anyone. Most of the "historical" "facts" about the Mongols are not even true anyway
@ImanShahbinIsh1@Azarea02@Mattgamer003 History also doesn't give a fuck when 80% of the western Mongolian population get absolutely annihilated by Manchus or 30% of male population get killed by the Soviets because they were "supposedly" some fucking Japanese and Chinese secret agents
