day 3 of #oc_tober

day 3: modern au

idk how modern this is but their original setting is medieval-ish fantasy so it’s at least more modern than that lol

[ochki @ochkicat]

I’m about to become insufferable to people who know me irl with all this new dragon age content

I am so excited!!!!!!

[ochki @ochkicat]

i'm really happy with my sprites so far 😭

[ochki @ochkicat]

@Ekkoberry that might be what I end up doing 😭 like maybe one route or smth

good luck to you too!! The progress you guys have made looks amazing so I’m excited to see the final result!!!

[ochki @ochkicat]

I’ve finished all my basic sprites for otomejam 🫠

I’m not feeling confident that I can finish by the deadline but I’ll do my best 😭

[ochki @ochkicat]

@Ekkoberry 👀

[ochki @ochkicat]

I’ll likely have to cut some things for the jam ver. like a fully custom gui and different outfits for sprites but I’ll add them after the jam is over

[ochki @ochkicat]

while in japan I managed to finish 2/3 character sprites and 1/6 backgrounds 🫠

[ochki @ochkicat]

when I get home, I’ll be focusing on finishing the script/coding and then hopefully I can finish all the art assets in time 😭

[ochki @ochkicat]

@Ekkoberry Me too!!! I’ve always wanted to try them but price has always put me off lmao

I want to do more trad art this year so I’m so excited to swatch them 😈

[ochki @ochkicat]

[ochki @ochkicat]

@CoffeeDripWorks this looks amazing so far!!!!

[ochki @ochkicat]

i really want to do a nice custom gui but that might be the thing that gets sacrificed in the jam version

[ochki @ochkicat]

i've managed to write ~5k words so far but i have no art assets yet :') i'm gonna do my best to get art done while i'm on holiday and then i'll crunch in june!!!!!
