#AUSSOM-KDF Commanding Officer, Lt. Col. Galgalo Liban and Jubaland’s Education Director General, Ahmed Farah Ali received Somalia’s National Secondary School Examination materials at Kismayo New Airport on Wednesday.

The materials were airlifted to Afmadhow & Elwak with AUSSOM support. This year, 2,097 students from 40 schools will sit the exams, up from 1,811 in the 2023/24 academic year, highlighting increased confidence in Jubaland’s security & education sectors.

From 14 June, #AUSSOM & Somali Security Forces (#SSF) will secure examination centres during the six-day assessment period to ensure a smooth and peaceful process. #AUSSOMInTheSectors
