JUNE NEWS : UPDATE FROM THE RESIDENTIAL TRIP - YEAR 6!
📢❗CALLING ALL YEAR 6 PARENTS📢❗
We’re thrilled to share that our #TeamYear6 learners are having an absolutely fantastic first couple of days on their residential trip to Kingswood.
This morning the children were up and raring to go around 5:30 AM! Our #TeamOcklynge children kicked off the day with a delicious breakfast of sausages, scrambled eggs, baked beans, hash browns, yoghurts, cereal, and toast; fueling them for another day of adventures.
Well done to our learners who came along, you did us all proud with your inquisitive questions, enthusiasm and exemplary behaviour & manners (as pointed out by many members of the public! #PROUD.
MAY NEWS : OCKLYNGE PARLIAMENT VISIT WESTMINSTER!
What a fantastic day our #OcklyngeParliament had yesterday at The Palace of Westminster, visiting the UK House of Commons , UK House of Lords and Westminster Abbey
The enthusiasm was palpable, and the cheers from classmates created an electrifying atmosphere! Our new champions for this year are #Class6N, taking the top spot from last years winners 6L!

MAY NEWS : TUG OF WAR / END OF SATs - YEAR 6!
What a fantastic day our #TeamYear6 had last week, with SATs coming to an end. Well done for all your work and efforts Year 6, we are so proud of you.
In the spirit of celebration and fun, the annual tug-of-war heats were in full swing, showcasing tremendous teamwork, determination, #Resilience and spirit!
Each class team gave it their all, pulling together in an exciting final battle between 6N and 6C.
We hope our children, current and new, will enjoy the new additions to our play offering. A big thank you to OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning CIC for their ongoing support and for continuing to showcase our efforts through their platforms.
MAY NEWS : NEW GO-KARTS - OPAL UPDATE!
Mrs Bode spent time this week speaking to our #TeamOcklyne children across the year groups about our new #OPAL play additions - brand new go-karts!
Mrs Bode, our Deputy Headteacher (and Queen of all things Opal), took the opportunity to demonstrate the new go-karts and, quite honestly, we just don't know who had more fun - her or the children! *never a dull moment - fun, but always with safety in mind!*
