Today, our Intermediates were able to try a beloved Southeast Asian delicacy - the durian fruit! While it was incredibly stinky, the students described the taste as garlicky avocado pudding! Thanks Mr Brandon for picking it up for us and Mrs Nash for organizing the experience!
Our 7/8 Mustangs enjoyed learning about wrestling this week. Looks like Mme Da Silva learned some moves too! Well done everyone and thank you Mr. Farrell for sharing your expertise!
Happy first day! My ‘home’ kids and my ‘work’ kids! This great group of students are the new Grade 8’s at @MichaelFitzOCSB and are entering their final year here! Some have been here since Kindergarten! #ocsbFirstDay
The grade 4’s are having so much fun and learning about rhythm with Junkyard Johnny this morning! Wish everyone could hear the giggles coming from our classroom! #ocsbEarth
The last of the da Silva girls are heading to school! Can’t believe it! September can’t come soon enough for this little one. #ocsbReady@MichaelCorkOCSB
@ocsbMrsWilson @Mme_Desmarais The Juniors very much enjoyed it too!! We enjoyed listening to music from around the world for the rest of the afternoon!
Great news! We will now be offering the immersion program again next year for our grade 7 and 8 students. Students now have two French pathways to choose from for grades 4 to 8. Thinking of registering, please give us a call or go online. 🐴👍🐴
