Similar issue, yes. But saying they’re ‘still doing it after a court found it illegal’ leaves out what happened afterward. The AP won a preliminary injunction at the district court level, but the appeals court stayed that ruling while the case proceeds. This new ban involves different outlets and a new set of actions that haven’t yet been adjudicated. Whether the same First Amendment reasoning applies is exactly what would have to be litigated.
