This is 100% correct and why operator worship is so cringe. The glorification of spec ops hurts people's understanding of war and makes them think these guys are more capable than they are. An artilleryman is significantly more deadly than a SEAL.
American units are brought in because we have so much funding and experience in the operator schoolhouse. Even in Ukraine, a largely comventional war, these elite forces can still serve a purpose in either far reaching ops or as simply an ELITE infantry unit in a conventional
