@LeahHouri I also allow slides with sample to sit on a heat block (at 65⁰C) for upto 30 minutes before applying a stain. This helps sperm to better stick to the slide and prevents loss of sample when rinsing off stains.

@LeahHouri Not sure what protocol you're using but sperm clumping was the biggest challenge. Thoroughly homogenizing spermathecal content with a pair of insect pins or tweezers was very helpful.
