Hall of Famer legend, Honus Wagner looks on from the Pirates dugout at Forbes Field sometime during the 1948 season. Wagner never wore a number during his playing career, but as a coach and ambassador for the Pirates starting in 1933, he wore # 14 for a brief time before wearing #33 the rest of his 19-year career.

Crosley Field in the mid 1960s. The ballpark was once nestled in the Queensgate neighborhood of Cincinnati. Unfortunately, the neighborhood began to disappear with the development of Interstate 75 in the early 1960s and the need for additional parking spaces. @Reds #Crosleyfield

If you attended a game at Sportsmans Park in the 1950s/1960s you would see vendors throughout the ballpark wearing these buttons. Yes, there was such a thing as a "cushion picker" back then. It was very common for fans to rent stadium seat cushions. @Cardinals

A unique photo of future teammates of the LA Angels, Steve Bilko as a PCL Angel with Albie Pearson as a PCL Seal, both wore the same jersey number 30, photo taken in 1957. The size of both players was always mind blowing to me. It is one of my favorite photos of Pearson. @ANGELS @LAWrigleyField @LosAngeleAngels

Al Simmons lived at 2745 North 20th Street, in the mid 1920s, across the street from Shibe's rightfield fence, in a second-floor bedroom in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Conwell.
