Those of you who think the UK govt have handled COVID well.
Read this, all of it!
In my opinion they should get prison time, not a free pass! https://t.co/jjerR6upe4
@NGoodrichHsg @JonnElledge Options
A. Pay the bill and move on
B. Fight developer
A leaves a bitter taste but over quick.
B long fight and compensation will unlikely cover all remediation costs, deff won’t cover your time and stress fighting
Sorry but current protections in building only protect developer.
@JolyonMaugham He can’t not court the right wing press, many and I think you’re 1 have criticised him for not showing what he stands 4. A no win, he avoids 90% of the British press and gets told no one knows your plan, or he gets into those papers and is then told he’s in bed with the enemy.
@Helen19544 @sharron_honey @RobinetteGoneWY @CatVonDont Not a bot, bots tend to have more than 2 followers. Amazed he claims his ‘side of the woods’ will come for anyone, will they both come together?
@ZacGoldsmith@carolvorders@Messina2012 Most of the people governed by laws have no responsibility for them. However we are expected to follow them, strange for a law maker not to understand that, do you need someone to explain your position to you?
@KarlTurnerMP @KwasiKwarteng @Conservatives But everyone’s laughing at the Swiss bankers though, you’d have to be an idiot to pay £27 grand to hear another idiot make a speech demonstrating what an idiot they are.
@BlokeOnWheels 3 apparently separate areas of road closures, armed police all over, apparently started about 5 am. Something big and by the time taken and disruption being caused I’d guess there’s a death involved or an ongoing risk. All we know right now.
@AngelaRayner I think it’s more if he goes now he can blame opposition, remainer Tories etc. But if he’s recalled it’s the electorate who remove him. He can’t go after the voters, he’ll need them if he’s thinking about a comeback.
@ThatTimWalker He’s not acting as a lawyer, he’s a politician who needs to get elected. All those demanding purity over practicality should understand they’re doing the Tories job for them, just as effectively as the Brexit ultras.
@Jo_WhiteheadUK@UKLabour You’re asking Starmer to give the Tories what they’re begging for. Their best hope to avoid electoral annihilation is to be allowed to open the Brexit divisions again. I know we’re confident the evidence is enough to win an election on rejoin, but I thought that in the referendum
@Jo_WhiteheadUK@UKLabour That’s exactly what I said above, we need to prove we’re an honest actor to the EU before any talk of rejoining. Steadily closer agreements, honoured by us, generating trust in EU and tangible benefit at home. So the next Brexity election can be won with a landslide for rejoin.
@Jo_WhiteheadUK@UKLabour Let’s get the Tories out, show the remaining leavers that closer relations with EU works. Then the election after can really go in on the division between ideology and prosperity. Vote Tory and go back to sovereign impoverishment or vote Labour to continue pragmatic prosperity.
