I really need to get better at using this account, I'm just not sure how. So for now, I'm going to post my TBR for October.
I participated in #Bookoplathon in September and I decided to make use of the board to figure out my October TBR.
However, I'm a mood reader, so whether
I'm only just starting to understand the scale and extent of Russian atrocities in Kyiv region over the past 2 weeks. It's unbelievable. It's not just Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, Borodyanka etc. Dozens of smaller villages were completely terrorized, cut off, people were executed.
I'm trying to figure out if there are any readathons next month that I might want to participate in before I start planning a kind of TBR.
So far having at least a skeletal plan of what I want to read seems to be working, although having said that I'm currently reading the
Okay, I adore werewolves and have since I was really young. Reading this thread was like reading my own thoughts on them.
I'm adding this to my TBR and I'll see if I maybe don't add it to the cart when I go book shopping on Wednesday (payday, yay!)!
I just finished The Shadow of What Was Lost this weekend and now I just want to read the second book. I have ordered it, but it's like I don't want to even contemplate picking up something else.
I have Once and Future Witches and Elantris in my @Tome_Topple TBR and I don't mind
I just dug through a bag that's been lying on the end of my couch because I was looking for lipbalm and I just found two books I must have bought months ago and entirely forgot about.
So now I have The Bone Maker and A Dark and Hollow Star.
I'm still attempting to stick to my
Maybe I ought to use it as I read, then rate it there immediately afterwards, that way I can get my immediate feelings down and then go back to it later? 🤔
On the other hand, it also means remembering to go back and changing it, which presents its own issues.
I always rate books pretty quickly after finishing them, because if I don't, I'll often forget to do it entirely and come back to them ages later and have a really hard time figuring out how different elements in the book felt.
However, sometimes it means that I change it after
a few days/a week-ish because distance to it makes me view it differently.
It kind of makes me want to hold off on rating them, but again, I'll likely forget to do it if I don't.
I do use CAWPILE and have a Google sheet, but I only really use it after I've finished the book.
So I removed 310 books from my want to read shelf yesterday and somehow it's tricking my mind into thinking that I can now go on a book buying spree.
Brain, that's not how any of this works!
