liquids do not break the fast. the worst part of hell is not the flames, it’s the hopelessness. kill your ego and then your landlord. dogs and horses like me.
@WALASIA on god, if i woke up and this was possible i would have worn through my hands by noon and been spending the afternoon smacking those fuckers with bloody stumps.
@KibryHouse mannnnn i still think about it all the time
i genuinely think it might be the game that’s held up the best
it still feels so… other. but being a kid and playing it on a 13” tv in my buddy’s mother’s unfinished basement was truly something else.
@phosphor_glow@natminuszero that’s wild because i’ve been bombarded on every platform about it and i would think our algos would be fairly aligned
unfortunately i heard so much about it that my brain decided ‘no’ purely due to the pressure
@BitchyGriff king killers, abolitionists, and one methamphetamine manufacturer. couldn’t be more upset at myself that for having a stable job and am not perpetually committing justified violence.
It's funny how growing up, my body's limits were routineley ignored and shamed and violated, and I internalized that and spent years pushing myself past my limits, and now my body is like, no bitch, respect my limits or I'm revoking conciousness privileges
that’s not even mentioning the amount of empathy people would build naturally for people that do all the things that matter. work a hospitality job for two shifts and tell me you feel comfortable being shit to them, i fucking dare you.
if you think ‘random job pull while having consistent insurance and a livable paycheck’ wouldn’t solve a lot of problems i have with being employed you’re sorely mistaken. plus, having a wide pool of people with a wide pool of skills would be a huge net gain, i think.
America should have a universal job guarantee. We have so much work to do as a country. We should have centers that I can show up to at 7am with my ID and get assigned work for the day. Trash clean up, food pantry distribution I mean the possibilities are endless
fuck any american who’s fought in a war. before the internet they could convince themselves they were answering the call or some shit but i’ll still never thank them. after 1990? y’all were agreeing to do dirt for a bag but weren’t willing to do it without a contract. bitch-made.
@Nobodyaskedya2@OliverQueenIRL Elderly have already done their share to provide value: fought wars, worked 40 + years, raised their families, volunteered for organizations, served as youth sports coaches, refs, mentors & since the 1930s have $$ taken from their pay to pay for the elderly who came before them.
