It is fine to start out with the movie and then move onto Stargate SG-1, just know that the tv show is much different in tone and in actors from the movie.

So don't be discouraged if you don't like the movie, the good stuff is in the many seasons of SG-1 and Atlantis!

In televoting, you can only vote FOR a country, not AGAINST.

So in a situation where many supports Israel and many is opposed, only the former group could use televoting to express their views.

Obviously, many object to the war.
