Iranian FM Araghchi says Iran has intentionally capped the range of its missiles below 2,000 kilometres, refuting the claims that Tehran is developing long-range missiles capable of reaching the US.

He made the comments in an interview with India Today which aired Wednesday.

In response to inquiries and following the portrayal of the incident in the Russian media, I wish to emphasize that it is absurd and baseless to suggest that the strike involving RT journalists in Lebanon was intentional, as appeared in public statements.
Israel targets only military objectives. In this instance, the Israeli Defense Force issued multiple, timely warnings to the public well in advance of the operation around Qasamiya crossing on the Litani River. The strike was carried out to thwart efforts by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to mobilize weaponry toward the border as part of its ongoing, deliberate attacks against Israeli civilians.
The responsibility for this incident lies with those who chose to ignore repeated warnings and remain within an active combat zone.

אתמול, הנחה שר החוץ סער על פתיחת חמ״ל לתקשורת הזרה בבית החולים ״סורוקה״ בבאר שבע, זאת על מנת להציג לתקשורת הזרה את הפגיעה המכוונת של המשטר האיראני בבית החולים ובאוכלוסייה בישראל.

Nattapong Pinta was a 35-year-old Thai citizen, husband, and father. He came to Israel to work in agriculture and support his family back home. On October 7, he was kidnapped alive by terrorists from Kibbutz Nir Oz.

This week, in a complex joint operation by the @IDF and Israeli Security Agency, his body was recovered from Rafah. Intelligence from a captured terrorist helped lead Israeli forces to the site. He is believed to have been murdered in captivity during the early stages of the war.

Nattapong is not forgotten. His life mattered. His murder will not go unanswered.

Israel is committed to the return of every hostage - Israeli or foreign, living or deceased - regardless of nationality, race, or religion. That commitment does not end until every single one is brought home.

We will not rest.

Over the past two weeks, our social media channels have been mostly silent.

On May 21st, we lost two of our dear colleagues, Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky, in a senseless act of violence. Their absence has left an unfillable void in our embassy family.

In Jewish tradition, shiva is a sacred time to mourn - to be still, to remember, and to grieve in the presence of community. We have taken this time to honor Yaron and Sarah with dignity, respect, and love.

As we slowly return to our duties, we do so with their memory etched in our hearts and a renewed commitment to the values they embodied: service, peace, and humanity.

May their memories be a blessing.

The most powerful moment at today's #Israel77 Independence Day 🇮🇱🇮🇱 reception at President @Isaac_Herzog’s residence was the moving plea from Rachel Goldberg Polin, mother of Hersh, who was kidnapped and murdered by #Hamas terrorists on October 7.
